Beginner Level 3 Workshop

This four-week advanced beginner’s workshop is designed to help the writer to generate new fiction or non-fiction material.  In each two-hour session, students will develop scenes from writing prompts and learn the fundamentals of workshop critique.  Take-home exercises designed to build the story will be assigned and critiqued each week.  Craft elements will be discussed in the context of participants’ stories.  By the end of the course, students will complete (or nearly complete) a new prose piece.

This workshop builds on the Beginner Writer’s and Writers Write Workshops.  Neither workshop is a a pre-requisite.
