Manuscript Critiques

All too often, the writer settles in to revise a manuscript only to feel uncertain about what direction the new draft should take.  Open Road Writing provides the writer with in-depth guidance.  The manuscript will be read twice: first for meaning, and second for detailed analysis.  The writer will receive a one-to-two page single-spaced response to the story or essay that points out what works well in the current draft and what may need more work, as well as suggestions for approaching the revision.

Face-to-face consultations (in person or via Skype) are also available.

Writers are encouraged to ask specific questions when submitting a manuscript.  Book-length manuscripts will receive significantly longer critiques.
