Personal Statement Workshop

The decision to attend graduate school is an important one.  After selecting programs that match your goals, you want to ensure acceptance.  The personal statement allows you to share your past accomplishments and future ambitions with the admissions committee.  Open Road Writing provides workshops and individual consultations to guide you in creating a strong and competitive personal statement.

The three-week  Personal Statement Workshop will take you through the process of brainstorming ideas, generating a first draft, and polishing a revised version of your essay.  Workshop enrollment is small, allowing ample time for participants to receive individualized attention from the instructor.
